Red Guitar- 3D Handpainted Animated Loop

This is just a fun quick project meant for learning some 3D techniques, combining it with handpainted textures and grease pencil to get 2D feel. I started with quick 2D sketch for some rough art direction of the piece. I wanted to capture the sense of roughness and sketchiness of the initial 2D artwork. I learned a lot here and spend on it a bit more time than I anticipated but hopefully next pieces will go smoother :) Oh and I created a song as well to acompany this masterpiece! :D

We started with quick 2D sketch for some rough art direction of the piece. The goal was to capture the sense of roughness initial 2D sketch. We learned a lot here and spend on it a bit more time than anticipated but hopefully next pieces will go smoother :) Oh and there is a song as well to acompany this masterpiece!

Here is 3D model you can a closer look at. Outlines had to be converted from Grease pencil to mesh, so they lost a texture, but it didn't loose the overall feel I think.
